There was plenty of activities for both the kids and adults. I loved that they have a “FUN” atmosphere and not a “Sloppy Party” atmosphere. Paradise Beach was accommodating to both the children and the family as a whole. **A big Thank You to Malin & Paradise Beach for welcoming us with open arms & friendly smiles, we truly enjoyed our day**įamily friendly was at the top of my priority list as I do travel with my two children and I also had a few other children with us this trip as well. The top thing I was looking for family friendly of course, I was also looking at the food options included, activities and the accessibility from the port. While researching online I was looking for a few things to make sure we picked the perfect place for our family. After doing a good amount of research online we decided on Paradise Beach. Cozumel has many beach resorts to choose from. This trip we decided to try one of the all inclusive beach clubs. On Previous trips we have done swimming with the dolphins and another time while porting in Cozumel we went on a submarine. Each time we go we try to plan something fun to do that is new to us. We have been to Cozumel, Mexico a few times over the past few years with the kids. It's great for couples or the whole family.Going to Cozumel soon and wondering what to do? Check out all the fun we had at Paradise Beach! Very relaxing day and some of the best water of the whole trip. They also had a glass bottom boat and parasailing. The only drawback was there was some rocky areas were you would not want to enter the water BUT they had the area marked with yellow flags so you know where is the sandy place to go in so it was no big deal. plenty of shade if you wish and lots of sun and sandy beach. They have rock climbing, slides, and many different inflatables for all ages to play on. The giant inflatable play area was awesome. They have paddle boarding, snorkeling, jet skis, floats, banana boat rides, and more. If you wish to participate in water sports, for $18 you can do any or all of them for the whole day. They have a beautiful pool you can enjoy with a large bar area. $3 to get in and $10 minimum food and drinks for the whole day. I chose Paradise Beach and I'm so glad I did.
#Paradise beach club cozumel driver
But I spoke to a local cab driver and asked him about all the beaches including distance, cost, cleanliness, crowds, etc. It had been many years since I had been to Cozumel and was frankly not looking forward to that particular stop. There is a white building that has local stores that sells touristy things like shirts, hats, magnets etc.

Do your souvenir shopping before you go back to the ship. On the right side it was clear and as you go into the ocean the water gets clearer. The day we were there, there are minor seaweeds on the left side of the beach and as you go in the water. It can look pretty yucky if they are not clearing it constantly. This is how the major resorts handles seaweeds. Room for improvement: Wish they spend more time clearing the seaweeds before the tourist arrives in the morning so there will be no seaweeds on site. *Please Note There is another Port for Other Cruise Line on the other side of the Island. Taxi Ride from Carnival Cruise Port is $15 one way.
#Paradise beach club cozumel upgrade
We appreciated the upgrade like more washrooms, concrete walk ways, extra bar area. They have done some major face lift on the place since we were there back in 2007. Clean washrooms, Taxi's outside, no vendors inside the pool area to hassle you. Water Toys in the beach and Blow Up Jumpy & Slides ( Extra ), Good Mexican Food and Drinks. Nice Large Clean pools, lots of umbrellas and beach chairs. They know what tourist looks for and they have built this place according to that. Entrance was $3 each + Need to spend $10 per person on food, and they watch your tab to make sure you do spend this much :) That is ok, Food and Drinks were delicious! $25 Entrance if you want to use the water jumpy and slides and kayaks /other beach toys + Spend $10 per person on food as well.

If you wanted a place to hang out for the day, that is not overly priced, and you want access to a nice pool and good drinks / food, and you have smaller children, this is the place for you.
